FX swaps account for more than half of all activity in the $7.5 trillion currency trading market – the biggest in the world. Swap trading has been slower in adopting innovative technology solutions than spot FX dealing, however. That is set to change in 2025.

Market participants such as regional banks must find ways to manage their FX swap pricing more effectively. There is a critical need for greater agility and accuracy in pricing to allow traders to react to changing market conditions in real-time by using tools and controls to identify outliers and opportunities across the swap curve.

They are pushing their sell-side relationships to provide unified solutions with modern UX to allow them to engage the market more efficiently. 

RETENTION of clients’ customers via empowering technology

A key aspect of delivering sustainable profitability and growth is the use of technology to ensure client customer retention. 2025 is set to see an increased focus on educating and engaging end customers so that they feel empowered by the use of trading technology. New market entrants and pressures on client acquisition have created an emphasis on not just obtaining customers, but keeping them active and engaged.
