$10,000 donation to The Tech Museum of Innovation marks 10-year anniversary
oneZero Financial Systems, a global leader in financial technology development, donated $10,000 to The Tech Museum of Innovation (The Tech), a family-friendly interactive science and technology center in San Jose, California. The Tech is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire the innovator in everyone. oneZero’s donation was used to support The Tech Challenge, an annual program for students in grades 4-12. For this year’s challenge, students designed and built hovercrafts to navigate different terrains.
“We fully support the mission of The Tech Museum of Innovation, as they are inspiring the next generation of innovators. We are excited to be underwriting The Tech Challenge to help children use the engineering design process to solve a real-world problem,” said Andrew Ralich, CEO and co-founder of oneZero Financial Systems. “As advocates for the use of leading-edge technology to address challenging business issues, we are thrilled to support organizations that are working towards this end as part of our 10-year anniversary corporate responsibility initiative.”
“We appreciate the generous support from oneZero for The Tech Challenge. They are a great partner for us because they share our organization’s values and commitment to technological innovation,” said Linda Antonopoulos, senior director of corporate relations of The Tech.
The Tech Challenge involves participants spending months collaborating and becoming deeply engaged in the contest while documenting their progress and designs. The program culminated in an exciting two-day showcase Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31, 2019, when teams put their solutions to the test in front of judges.
This donation is part of oneZero’s larger corporate responsibility initiative of donating $10,000 to 10 charities over a ten-month period to honor a decade of operations and as part of its commitment to innovation.
