Donates $10,000 to Cradles to Crayons® in celebration of 10-year anniversary
oneZero Financial Systems, a global leader in financial technology development for the brokerage sector, donated $10,000 to Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization which provides clothing and other essentials for homeless and low-income children living in Massachusetts. oneZero employees also volunteered at Cradles to Crayons to help serve the 145,000 children the organization supports each year.
“Supporting the mission of Cradles to Crayons has been a valuable and meaningful experience for our entire team,” said Andrew Ralich, CEO and co-founder of oneZero Financial Systems. He added, “At oneZero, we are committed to giving back to local organizations that are serving people in need. It has been very gratifying to mark this 10-year milestone by contributing to our community.”
The donation supports the non-profit’s Gear Up for Winter initiative which provides children in need with the clothing necessary to stay safe and warm in cold weather. Later this year, oneZero employees will also be participating in the annual Ready for School Backpack-A-Thon®, which provides children with supplies to ensure they arrive at school on the first day prepared and excited to learn.
“We are so excited to be a part of oneZero’s ten year anniversary celebration,” said Jennifer Askjaer, Executive Director of Cradles to Crayons in Boston. “We would like to thank oneZero for being a great role model for the business community, and for their dedication to our mission of supporting local children.”
oneZero’s donation is part of a larger initiative from the technology firm to donate $10,000 to 10 charities over the next 10 months to honor a decade of operation and as part of its commitment to be a socially responsible company.
