The donation continues oneZero’s 10-year anniversary celebration
oneZero Financial Systems, a global leader in financial technology development, donated $10,000 to the Guild of St. Agnes Early Education and Care program in Worcester County. The nonprofit organization provides quality, affordable childcare services across Worcester County to over 1,700 children.
“We are excited to help the Guild of St. Agnes support the diverse group of children and families they provide with childcare services and after school programming,” said Andrew Ralich, CEO of oneZero Financial Systems. He added, “We believe it is important to support our local communities in Massachusetts.”
“We are especially grateful for this donation, which will be used for families who are struggling to provide for the basic needs of their children,” said Sharon MacDonald, Director of Programs for the Guild. “So many of our families come to us, not just for the early education and care for their children, but for help and support to manage the obstacles they face in their daily life. These funds will go a long way to address the needs of children and families.”
This donation is part of oneZero’s larger corporate responsibility initiative of donating $10,000 to 10 charities over a ten-month period to honor a decade of operations.
About the Guild of St. Agnes
Since 1913 the Guild of St. Agnes has offered quality early education and care services to families in the Worcester, Massachusetts area. Currently, the Guild serves 1700 children between ages four weeks and twelve years in developmentally appropriate learning environments, offering working parents full-day and year-round childcare services and after school programming. The majority of the children served by the Guild receives subsidies from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts due to their low-income or because the children have suffered abuse and/or neglect and are subsequently involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Many of the families are considered at-risk and rely on the Guild of St. Agnes to provide a safe, nurturing place for their children to grow and learn.
